April 7 in the city hall, the President of Ełk signed contracts with representatives of housing communities awarding grants for conservation, restoration or works construction at a monument entered in the register of monuments or located in municipal register of monuments in the City of Ełk. This year, a total of three grants for a total amount of PLN 150,000, coming from the budget of the City of Ełk.

The grant was awarded to:

1. Housing Community at 4 Moniuszki Street in Ełk, the scope of work includes: insulation of foundation walls, band building, renovation of the balcony of a residential building at 4 Moniuszki Street in Ełk; the amount of co-financing granted is PLN 60,000;

2. Housing Community at Armii Krajowej Street 13 in Ełk, the scope of works to be performed includes: renovation of the façade building: repair of scratches, removal of old paint, replenishment of cavities, painting façade, renewal of window and door frames, reconstruction of details architectural, replacement of basement windows, renovation of building balconies residential and service at 13 Armii Krajowej Street in Ełk; Amount granted The co-financing amounts to PLN 60,000.

3. Housing Community at Wojska Street Polskiego 19 in Ełk, the scope of works to be carried out includes the renovation of the façade front with preservation and reconstruction of the existing architectural detail, renovation of balconies of a residential and service building at 19 Wojska Polskiego Street in Elk. The amount of the grant granted is PLN 30,000.

In the years 2011-2022, a total of PLN 2,271,856.90 of subsidies for monuments was paid.
