  The aim of the action is to collection of waste abandoned in forests, meadows. Anyone who ships to CEE A photo with the collected garbage bag will receive a gift.

  We invite children and school youth on a trip to the sewage treatment plant in Nowa Wieś Ełka, to see, how sewage and sludge management is carried out in our city. Groups will be provided with MZK bus access to the treatment plant and return to school.

  To participate in the action We invite educational institutions in Ełk, non-governmental organizations and groups Informal. Participating in Spring Cleaning is a good way to make you aware that What the neighborhood in which we live looks like depends mainly on ourselves. Participants are provided with cleaning materials (gloves and bags), as well as packed lunches for the bonfire (sausages and bread).

• Visiting the Enterprise of the Economy "Eco – MAZURY" waste in Siedliska

• Visiting the Energy Company Heat

  We invite children and schoolchildren on a trip to PEC to see what technologies have been used in the field of heat generation using modern technologies limiting interference with the natural environment. Groups will be left with guaranteed access by bus MZK to PEC and  Back to school.

• Action "You give away the garbage – you get the tree"
  John Paul II Square, 12:00-15:00
  People who They will bring electro-waste, in return they will receive a tree seedling. The idea of the action is active care for the natural environment and reminder of the importance of segregation, especially of e-waste, which contains numerous substances harmful and poisonous. The educational aspect is also very important, i.e. making residents aware that this type of waste must not be disposed of as ordinary trash can and should be handled appropriately.
  During the action Municipal Department of Communication, Water and Sewage Company and Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Odpadami will present vehicles that are used for daily work as part of the business.

• Earth Day Online Quiz
  Knowledge quiz on on forms of biodiversity protection in the city and organizations, institutions related to environmental protection operating in Ełk and the region.
  To take in it participation must be completed by 19.04.2023 and fill in the "Application Form" available at Page www.cee.elk.pl

• Spring Cleaning of the World (adults residents of Ełk)

  On this day to participate in the action we invite adult residents of Ełk who would like to include get into action. The area along the shore of Ełk Lake at ul. Castle. Participants will be provided with cleaning materials.

  Cleaning area part of the bottom and quay of the castle island on Ełk Lake will be covered

• Presentation "Life in the vicinity of wolves in the Ełk poviat"
  11:00 a.m.
  During the meeting Information will be presented about wolves in the Ełk poviat, their role in nature and we will learn curiosities about their lives.

• Departure to the Biebrza Marshes
  5:00-15:00
  To promote active leisure activities and  Nature education we invite you to participate in the trip to Biebrza National Park. We will go  to the section Gugny - Barwik (about 10 km), where about 3 km we will be move in waders. The route will be quite difficult and demanding, so We recommend the participation of people with very good physical condition.
