Yesterday (15 September) the Warmia and Mazury Local Government Conference took place in Szczytno, which was attended by 150 local government officials from the province. In The conference was attended by the Prime Minister, Voivode of the Voivodship Warmińsko-Mazurskiego, representatives of parliamentarians and the Management Board of the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. During the meeting, the city of Ełk was represented by the Deputy President Ełk City Mirosław Hołubowicz and City Treasurer Jarosław Wróbel.

In during the conference, the results of the VI edition of the Government Investment Program were announced Strategic, addressed to local governments in which the State operated Farms. The City of Ełk submitted an application for co-financing of the investment entitled Renovation roof with replacement of sheathing, renovation of the wooden structure of the roof and renovation of the insulation of the ceiling in the building of Primary School No. 2 at 1 Małeckich Street in Elk. The investment was included in the list of projects that will receive Funding. The amount of the requested funding is 4 410 000 PLN.

Scope The planned investment will include, among others:

• Exchange roof sheathing on the whole building with new formwork,
• Insulation ceiling above the third floor with a new floor,
• Exchange degraded elements of the ceiling structure or roof truss,
• Repair and supplementing the cornices with the execution of new flashing,
• Guttering Building
• Rebuilding ventilation chimneys,
• execution gravitational ventilation of rooms,
• assumption electrical installation – lighting of attic rooms,
• Exchange window and door joinery at the attic level.

Comprehensive Renovation of the roof along with its insulation will ensure the right temperature inside building, directly affecting the comfort of learning students and work Teachers.
