Contractor Rail Baltica "Works on the E75 line on the section Białystok – Suwałki – Trakiszki" informed that in connection with the Continuation of road and sanitary works from Monday 6 November will be Temporary change of traffic organization at the roundabout in the street layout: Sikorski, Łukasiewicz and Słoneczna in Ełk.

Traffic on the Sikorski – Suwalska and vice versa, it will be redirected to the newly built Słoneczna Street and ul. Suwałki Street.

In order to communicate with the section of ul. Sikorskiego (from Łukasiewicza to Dolna Street) there will be a detour along the following streets: Suwalska, Mazurska, Sucharskiego, Staszica, Kraszewskiego and Tęczowa Street.

Pedestrian traffic will be carried out on designated corridors in the roundabout area and beyond  pavements at Łukasiewicza Street and Słoneczna Street, and in the direction of of the closed section of Sikorskiego Street will be redirected to the marked crossing the railway tracks between Bora Komorowskiego Street and Sikorskiego Street.

Two stops will be temporarily eliminated public transport at Łukasiewicza Street. Otherwise, Public transport will operate as before.

Changes will be in force until 6 December 2023.
