The value of the contract with the contractor is PLN 8,150 PLN 079.47. The city of Ełk received funding from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego in the amount of PLN 6,320,275.23.

The investment included:

• construction of a residential building with 36 Flats.
• construction of water supply connections, sanitary, rainwater, teletechnical, energy sewage, installation including central heating with gas furnaces and installations electrical including: lightning protection, lighting, internet
• execution of permanent equipment building, including: stair climber, washbasins with mixers, sinks with taps and cabinets, bathtubs with taps, bowls toilet seats,
• construction of a playground, construction of accesses pedestrians, elements of small architecture, landscaping with greenery.

These apartments will be used by the residents of Ełcz, families who are in a financial situation that makes it impossible to purchase of your own apartment. In addition, the Ełk local government, fulfilling the provisions of the Act takes measures to increase the availability of this type of housing.

Applications for the allocation of premises from the housing stock of the city of Ełk are accepted by the end of August,

- in the fourth quarter the Social Commission Housing Department, I proceed to the first meeting, in which the verification of applications,

- after meeting the requirements and visions local SKM, I decide who will be on the list of allocations for a given year,

- to qualify for housing municipal services, the income must exceed:

* in a single-person household 100% the lowest pension, i.e. PLN 1780.96,

* in a multi-person household 75% the lowest pension, i.e. PLN 1335.72.

At the moment in Ełk in 234 buildings there are 1286 residential units constituting the city's resources. Including 1039 rented apartments and 247 apartments Social.
