Care 75+

The aim of the programme is to increase the availability of care services, including specialist care services, for people aged 75 and over, who are single or single householders, as well as those who are remain in the family, meeting the conditions for granting assistance indicated in the the Social Assistance Act.

In Ełk, as part of the implementation of the "Care 75+" program for 2024, 33 people were provided with assistance (as of 30 June 2024).

The programme is financed from the special purpose reserve of the state budget for the year 2024 and implemented in the period 1 January - December 31, 2024 Funds for its own services were obtained for its purpose 221 Thousand.  PLN 855,

and for specialist services PLN 47,571. Total the amount of PLN 269 thousand 426.

 Program Senior+

Program The long-term "Senior+" for the years 2021 – 2025, 2024 edition, is a continuation of the the "Senior+" multiannual programme for the years 2015–2020.

The aim of the program is to provide support to seniors - people who economically inactive aged 60 and over in social life by enabling them to actively participate in social life (including m.in. establishing intergenerational relations), using the educational offer, cultural, recreational and care services, as well as including cultural and social services, physical activity - depending on the needs identified in the environment Local.

As part of the Programme, the infrastructure is made available to seniors allowing for active leisure, as well as activation and involvement of seniors in self-help and environmental activities Local.

Classes take place in the Senior+ Senior Club at 10 Piłsudskiego Street, on working days from Monday to Friday for all year round.

20 permanent participants (restrictions due to the size requirements), others occasionally, very large  interest among seniors in this form of support.

The programme is co-financed in the form of a targeted subsidy for the implementation of a public task and is implemented from 1 January to 31 December 2024.

For its purpose, funding for up to 15 places in the amount of PLN 30,960 was obtained .
