Into join the Clean Up the World 2024 campaign "On Guard of Clean Up of the Earth" are invited by the Ełk Ecological Education Center and the Ełk Forest Inspectorate. Events will take place on September 18 from 7:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the landscape after the period holiday in some places does not look encouraging. Cans, papers, Foils, bottles not only disfigure your favorite places for walks, but also harm Nature. Therefore, participants will be provided with bags and disposable gloves to remove all the waste encountered. We hope that participation in the campaign will increase the awareness of residents in the field of environmental protection and will to reduce the practice of disposing of garbage "wherever it goes".

Collected Waste should be left in places where the car can easily reach collecting the bags (please tie the bags). About the place of leaving bags of waste must be notified to the CEE.

Action Clean Up The World started with cleaning up Australia. In 1993 its originator, the Australian sailor and businessman Ian Kiernan, expanded the idea Clean Up Australia to the Worldwide Under the Patronage of the United Nations United States. The following year, Mira Stanisławska-Meysztowicz, a permanent Pole living in Australia, introduced this idea to our country under the name Clean up the world – Poland. Around the world every year at Clean Up The World Nearly 40 million volunteers participate. The action is based on social involvement of individuals, companies and institutions in cleaning up the nearest of the surrounding area from the rubbish lying there.
