Ełk Cultural Centre in Ełk and the Cultural Centre, Tourism and Sport in Biskupiec – the organizer of the Grand Prix series invites you to the 17 November at 9:00 a.m. for the V Open Chess Tournament for the President's Cup of the City of Ełk.

The tournament allows you to earn points in the International of the FIDE Chess Federation for rapid chess.

The tournament is open, and can participate in it all those who register via the tournament website ChessArbiter or by email to ori49@wp.pl by 6 November 2024 and will pay the entry fee.

Entry fee:

Seniors – PLN 40 (category A)

Women – 30 PLN (category B)

Youth (up to 18 years of age) – 30 PLN (Category C)

Juniors (up to 10 years of age) – 30 PLN (Category D)

Competitors from Ełk and the district – PLN 20 (category E)

The referee of the competition in Ełk will be Paweł Orłowski – judge chess player of the national class, holding an International Referee License of the FIDE Chess Federation and the Polish Chess Federation no. 14300028. Active player, chess instructor and manager of the Chess Club LZS CKTiS Biskupiec. Chief arbiter of many chess tournaments of the rank provincial and national level. In addition, the organizer of dozens of tournaments chess games of international rank.
