April 2 we celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, established by the Organization United nations. The aim of this day is to raise public awareness about autism and promoting early diagnosis and intervention. In Ełk in On this day, the march "Ełk for Autism" will take place.

The march will set off from the square at Dos Patos and will walk along the Ełk promenade to the Copernicus Park. Goal event is to promote acceptance and understanding for people struggling with this challenge.

The initiative is organised in cooperation with the Community Self-Help House
in Ełk, the "Blue Bear" Association, the Association for the Benefit of people with autism "IMPULS" and the Support Group for Children's Parents Disabled in Ełk.

We encourage you to put an emphasis on blue – e.g. T-shirts, hats, scarves.

Finally, we'll do a joint commemorative photo on the bridge in Copernicus Park, decorated with blue balloons :)

It will be a great opportunity to expressions of solidarity with people on the autism spectrum.
