We are aware of the importance of public green areas in the immediate vicinity. With this in mind, we are launching the "Plant Yourself on Ełk".

The main goal of the campaign is to plant large trees on the public areas, it can be a cooperative, community or even private area within the boundaries of of our city, of course, with the consent of their owners. We will carefully select trees to selected locations, focusing on typical local species, supporting sustainable, green development of the city.

We invite residents to cooperate, social activists and private owners of the land where the a place for a tree. Thanks to this, trees will be able to appear in our city in locations expected by residents.

In addition, we will plant already grown trees, with a height of at least 2 meters to provide shade and respite as soon as possible, instead of waiting several years for them to increase.

2. Verification

Together with the team and experts, we will analyse the applications in terms of the possibility of planting trees there, we will check who owns the land and establish contact him and we will help in the planting procedure.

3. Decision

If the space is left approved, we will contact you to inform you of the planned planting date.

4. Planting

Once approved and preparing the place, we will start planting the tree.

Where can we plant a tree?

There is one main condition - the place where one or more of the several of our trees, should be open to everyone, so that so that you can enjoy the advantages of green areas freely and without any obstacles.

Of course, the terrain must also comply with the conditions set out in the regulations or be deprived of other objective obstacles to planting, analysed for the presence of collision with utilities, the size of the area enabling the proper growth of the tree, compositional consistency with the existing greenery, but when submitting a potential sites for new trees, you don't have to worry about it - we We will check all these requirements.
