The White Lily Awards have been awarded annually since 2007. The idea of the award is to distinguish people who in a special way with their daily work with their work, activity and commitment, they serve the city and its inhabitants and contribute to the promotion of Ełk.

The awards are granted to individuals, legal entities and other for special achievements in the previous calendar year or for the protection of the overall activity in 8 categories:

1. Patron of Sport,
2. Sportsman of the Year,
3. Artistic Award,
4. Patron of Culture,
5. Ambassador of Ełk,
6. Entrepreneur of the Year,
7. An attitude worth following,
8. Special Prize.

The award is granted at the request of:

• Mayor of the City of Ełk,
• President of the Council of the City of Ełk or a group of 5 Councillors,
• other bodies government and local government administration,
• non-governmental organizations, social, economic, professional, trade union,
• local media, regional and national
• groups of 25 adults permanently residing in the city of Ełk.

Applications can be submitted at the General Office of the City Hall Ełk or sent by post.

Extended deadline for submitting applications: until 14 April 2025 inclusive.
