The exhibition "Ełk from the beginning" is a creative reference to the 2019 exhibition entitled "Ełk in order. A journey through the history of the city". The Historical Museum in Ełk invites visitors on a journey through the oldest history of Ełk, focusing on the beginnings of the city and its surroundings. Particular attention is paid to the Castle Island, the history of the Yotvingians and the activities of the Teutonic Order, as well as the fate of Ełk in the early modern era. The exhibition "Ełk from the beginning" will also be the first opportunity to see unique artefacts excavated during many years of archaeological excavations conducted at the Ełk castle.
