The revitalization of another square in Ełk has begun. At the end of April, works on the facility at Żeromskiego Street began, now the time has come for the square located at Słowackiego Street. 

The investment is being carried out as part of the project "Improving the functionality of two squares in the revitalization area in Ełk", which received EU funding covering 85% of the costs.

The square at Słowackiego Street, with an area of approx. 2,617.29 m2, will be divided into a leisure and representative zone to commemorate the soldiers of the September Campaign.

The scope of the investment envisages, m.in:

• construction of pedestrian routes with squares in the form of circles made of granite cubes
• , construction of a pedestrian route with a resin-mineral surface (auxiliary path),
• construction of a sensory path with a diverse natural surface, such as pebbles, cones, bark, bricks, wood, gravel, etc.
• construction of two pergolas with a diameter of 4 m and 4.6 m,
• lighting - 30 pcs.,
• monitoring of monitoring,
construction of a
• drinking water drinking fountain with a water and sewage connection,
• installation of elements of small architecture: waste bins, benches, bicycle racks, gaming tables with seats, cross, flag poles,
• planting greenery,
• renovation of the existing monument,
installation of an
• information board in the form of a film tape.

The value of the works resulting from the contract with the Contractor: PLN 1,744,303.17.

EU co-financing for this part of the project: PLN 1,482,657.70.
