During today's (27 May) session of the Ełk City Council, Mayor Tomasz Andrukiewicz presented the "Report on the State of the Municipality of Ełk" for 2025. The document is a summary of the activities carried out last year, in all the most important areas of the city's functioning. It concerns, m.in: finance, investments, security, education and environmental protection. After reading the report and the debate, the councillors adopted a resolution on granting the president a vote of confidence.

The next item of the session was a resolution on the approval of the financial statements for 2025. The councillors adopted the resolution after getting acquainted with the positive opinions of the Regional Chamber of Auditors and the Budget Committee of the Ełk City Council.

During Wednesday's (27 May) session, the Councillors also adopted a resolution on granting discharge to the Mayor of the City of Ełk. The Ełk City Council positively assessed the activities of Mayor Tomasz Andrukiewicz and the financial policy pursued by granting discharge for 2025.
