The Civic Budget is a separate part of our budget the purpose of which is decided by its inhabitants. Already on September 21 the Ełk Civic Budget – 2027 edition is launched. The amount of funds allocated for this purpose is PLN 1,000,000.

You have an impact on the reality around us! Budget Civic is a tool that allows residents to decide on projects and investments carried out in our city.

The Ełk Civic Budget in brief:

1. Reporting projects. Do you have an idea for a project that can be implemented? Submit application form, which you can find on website of the Ełk Budget Civic Forum and the Office for Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations Ełk City Hall. The project requires the support of at least 50 residents of the city.
2. Rating projects. We will assess your application in terms of formality. Applications are also analysed in terms of their feasibility. Projects that Passed verification is put to a vote.
3. Vote. You can vote using a paper ballot or by electronic on page Ełk Civic Budget. Cast one vote for the project investment project and one vote for a non-investment project.

Ełk Civic Budget – 2027 edition:

1. Submission of projects: 21 September - 12 October 2026
2. Project evaluation: September 22 to November 10 2026
3. Vote: 11-25 November 2026
4. Selection of projects and announcement of results: up to 30 November 2026
